School Leadership

Principal's Message

What an honor it is to continue serving the Mountain View community for my fourth year. We strive to Build Relationships, Inspire Learning, and Encourage Growth. As a PBIS school, it is important for us to be RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE, and SAFE in all that we do and say. I continue to believe that it is my responsibility to provide high quality leadership that focuses on student well-being (ensuring the academic, social/emotional, and physical safety of each student), staff support (empowering our amazing staff to connect with each child in meeting their academic and social-emotional needs), parent connections (listening to and communicating with parents to ensure a collaborative focus on meeting each child’s needs), and community engagement (being an active member of the Mountain View community).

Because of this, two-way communication is important to me and I value the connections we will have during the 25-26 school year. If I can be of any assistance to you, please do not hesitate to reach out. The quickest way to connect with me is via email. You can also call me at 602-347-4105 and I will do my best to return your call within 24 hours of receiving it. If you need to meet with me in person, know that I will do my best to meet with you as soon as possible. Balancing student, staff, parent and community needs will, at times, make it necessary to set an appointment for an in-person conversation.

Thank you for trusting us with your most valuable possession. Please know that I do not take this responsibility lightly and look forward to demonstrating this through my beliefs, words and actions!

Proud to be a HAWK,

Assistant Principal's Message

Greetings Mountain View Families,

As the new academic year approaches, I am honored to extend a warm welcome to each member of our school community. Together with our esteemed principal, Phil Liles, our dedicated staff, and passionate teachers, we are committed to providing a nurturing and inspiring learning environment for all our students.

Our school stands on the foundation of academic excellence, integrity, and respect, safety, and effort for every individual. We believe that every child possesses unique talents and capabilities, and our goal is to foster an inclusive environment that encourages personal growth and celebrates diversity. Our collective mission is: Hawks RISE by Building Relationships, Inspiring Learning and Cultivating Respect.

Communication and collaboration between home and school are essential for the success of our students. We encourage an open-door policy and invite you to actively participate in your child's education journey. Whether it's attending school events, parent-teacher conferences, or joining the Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO), your involvement plays a vital role in creating a thriving educational community.

Throughout the year, we will keep you informed about school events, academic progress, and important updates through regular newsletters and our school website. Moreover, our teachers and staff are always here to address any questions or concerns you may have. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us; we are here to support both students and families alike. You can call me at 602-347-4106 and I will do my best to return your call within 24 hours of receiving it.

As we embark on a new academic year together, let us remember that education is a partnership between school and home. With our combined efforts, we can provide our students with the best opportunities for growth, learning, and success.

Once again, welcome to the Mountain View family! We look forward to building a strong relationship with each of you and creating unforgettable experiences for our students.

Sincerely,
Annie Diaz
